About Nebraska TAK
Our Mission
At Nebraska TAK, our mission is to enhance public safety through the TAK ecosystem. We provide first responders with the tools they need for real-time collaboration and situational awareness during emergencies, events or daily operations.

Server Hosting
NETAK is currently using SSD Node (https://www.ssdnodes.com/) to host two ubuntu servers. One to run the core system and the second to maintain the user database.
NETAK also have a Raspberry Pi TAK Server from GoTAK, that can be used for special deployments needing another TAK Server, like off grid or with Starlink, for emergent use.
TAK Server 5.6
TAK Server is a tactical information management platform that provides data access and encryption across disparate networks. TAK Server secures, brokers, and stores data in standalone and federated configurations. It is required whenever TAK clients are not operating in a peer-to-peer network or there is an operational need to encrypt and store mission data. Client plugins, such as DataSync and Execution Checklist, also require a TAK Server.

lfra-TAK By bringing together essential components like TAK Server, TAK Portal, Node-RED automation, Authentik identity management, and integrated email relay, InfraTAK dramatically simplifies what has historically been a complex deployment process. What this means for agencies:

Agency Point of Contat (POC)
With infraTAK, Agency POC's can manage their own onboarding and offboarding of users, they can add agency assigned channels to their users and even build templates to rapidly assign channels to users. This provides agencies more control over their users without needing the TAK administrators.
